我整理綜合歸納的領導人的特質

今天的領導人除了非常需要瞭解人性，並獲的部屬的敬重之外，更要進一步懂得利用不同的方式去影響部屬，以創造出一種值得部屬共同支特，甚至自願無私奉獻的環境和氣氛。而這些成功的領導人或多或少都具有以下四項特質：

(一)           領導上的特質

(二)           人格上的特質

(三)           能力上的特質

(四)           態度上的特質

領導上的特質

1. 有願景 Vision：Set Goals, 有旺盛企圖心，高瞻遠矚，開創未來的特質
2. 有膽識，有勇氣，能夠創新思考
3. 主動追求挑戰，能承擔風險 Take risk and Willing to Change
4. 有決斷力，勇於做困難的決定 Make Good Decisions With Limited Information
5. 知人善用，能夠發掘和培育其他領導人
6. 有長期堅持的韌性Tenacity、毅力 Persistent，鍥而不捨
7. 有領袖魅力Charisma

應具備的能力 Capability & Skills

1.       不斷的提升自我能力
2.       People Skills
3.       要有溝通協調能力，尤其要有「聽」的能力
4.       要有影響力，感召部屬的能力
5.       灌能授權 Empowerment
6.       要有終身學習與獨立思考的能力
7.       要有豐富的國際觀
8.       要有執行力，行動力
9.       要有適應力，環境變遷掌控的能力

Strategies for Creating Change

1.  Force-coercion:      “You must change”

2.  Rational persuasion:      “You should change”

3.  Shared Power:      “You want to change”

The Eight Steps for Successful Large-Scale Change

1.      Increase urgency (people start telling each other, "Let's go, we need to change things!")

2. Building the guiding team (a group powerful enough to guide a big change is formed and they start to work together well)

3. Get the vision right (the guiding team develops the right vision and strategy for the change effort)

4. Communicate for buy-in (people begin to buy into the change and this shows in their behavior)

5. Empower action (more people feel able to act and do act on the vision)

6. Create short-term wins (momentum builds as people try to fulfill the vision while fewer and fewer resist change

7. Don't let up (people make wave after wave of changes until the vision fulfilled)

8. Make change stick (new and winning behavior continues despite the pull of tradition, turnover of change leaders, etc)

The lecture has been condensed from 3 hours in the classroom to around one hour to be suitable for internet e-Learning.
